Hi! I’m Alena, the owner & photographer of Alena Rose Photography. I'm a wedding photographer based out of Raleigh, North Carolina, serving couples across the East Coast, but I'm always up to travel wherever your story is!


My love for photography all started with documenting our travels and family memories. After I graduated college in 2023, photography became my passion and business and I started capturing weddings in 2024.


When I’m not behind the camera, I love traveling and reading. My fiancé and I - along with our pup Ledges (he’s a beagle) have traveled to almost half of the National Parks in the US and a total of 43 states! We are getting married in Grand Teton National Park this year!

My approach

I approach wedding days with an editorial documentary style. From the moments that unfold naturally to the posed smiling portraits that you frame, you'll get the perfect blend of posed and unposed shots. Having a documentary mindset and an editorial eye, allows the day to breathe while preserving it with intention. My goal is not to recreate moments, but to notice them. Giving you the best coverage of your wedding day with focus on the candid raw moments as well as the classic portraits. My editing style consists of timeless, true-to-color edits that you'll cherish for a lifetime.
